Pile O’ Bones Roller Derby

There are a number of initiatives to which my firm donates time, resources and money.  I think we do a pretty good job of being involved in our community, but we do a pretty poor job of highlighting some of the great organizations that we support.

One of the groups in the city that I am particularly pleased to support is Pile O’ Bones Roller Derby.  A Realtor and a friend, Lindsay Haubrich, or as she is known in roller derby circles, Lucy Lockbox, approached me about skater sponsorship, and I was happy to participate.  I took the sponsorship on personally (mainly because I wanted all the free tickets!).

Roller derby is a fast paced physical sport that is different from the clothesline filled drama of 90s late night tv. Women of all ages form three house teams that battle it out for local supremacy.  Check out the schedule and details about the league at http://pileobonesderbyclub.com
